"Carolinian Winery"
We visited the Carolinian Winery on the outskirts of London, Ontario on a bright, winter day. We found it housed in a beautiful rustic building, in a country setting, where you can sit by the fireplace and sip on a nice beverage. When we drove up, the owner was out riding her horse. What an absolutely picturesque sight! This business is owned by Foley Farms, an organic operation, where they grow strawberries, raspberries, blueberries andblack currents. These fruits are used for their drinks, but are also available for sale during the growing season, whether you like to pick your own, or purchase already harvested produce. You are welcome to browse around the store, where they have many wine related items, including gift baskets, custom made to suit your taste and budget. They offer private gatherings at their lovely location. And they boast an inviting luncheon and Sunday brunch in the loft. They list their events on their website which we have listed below for you to reference. It seems that each season this establishment offers something different for their clientele. Whether it is a hay ride, Christmas greenery, fruit in season, or a corn maze, there is always something going on here! P.S...This day we sampled several very tasty beverages, which we have reviewed for you on subsequent pages.
