Ruffino Wines, a leading Tuscan winery in Italy, has an excellent pedigree of wines that dates back to 1877. Ruffino is "constantly improving their quality of its product" as an important part of their goals going forward. They implement the use of new technologies to assist in the improvement of their quality beverages. This is definitely a winery that should be visited as soon as possible. Or if you're in the area it is a must to stop by and sample their delicious beverages.
The estates that they have are listed as: Poggio Casciano, Santedame, Gretole, Greponne Mazzi,Borgo Conventi, Ladola Nuova,La Solatia, and Montemasso. These 8 estates are the heart of this company. Seven of the estates are in the Tuscan district with the 8th, Fruli Borgo located in the Collio DOC area.
In 2006,this company hosted a symposium on wine production improvement. This symposium included international wine journalists and top viticulturists in Italy. They really are moving forward with the best research and technology in the business to achieve the very best quality. This is what all the best wineries in the world should be doing and their results do show up in their amazing drinks. We will review a few of their great wines on other pages. They break their beverages into 3 categories: Reds, Whites and Rose. Ah, we will sample all 3 types and give you our recommendations. Now this we are looking forward to doing soon!
